WHAT:
I was tasked with creating the boilerplate copy, from which all marketing communications would be based, for the entire 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
WHY:
My copy reflects the event's focus on freshness. And more than ever before, how this idea includes flavorful foods as much as the flowers that defined festivals of the past.

This year, the festival is bigger, and tastier, than ever before. Delicious aromas from Outdoor Kitchens fill the spring air. Garden-inspired cuisines are always at peak freshness. Here, flowers and flavors alike are grown from the garden up—no wonder we call it Fresh Epcot®!
Speaking of gardens, you’re sure to find springtime inspiration strolling alongside the endless floral displays and among over a dozen Character topiaries around Epcot®. Some of your favorites are back, while new additions like Cruz from Pixar’s Cars 3 and Figment and join the lineup this season.
The festival may be growing, but that doesn’t mean it’s only for grownups. There are plenty of experiences for the little ones: interactive gardens, playgrounds and up close encounters like the Butterflies on the Go garden and more!
And if you have a green thumb or growling tummy, the hands-on exhibits, culinary demonstrations and specialty tours throughout the festival will make anyone’s day. Plus, there’s plenty of fun blossoming under the moonlight, too. Musical acts take to the stage weekend nights during the Garden RocksTM Concert Series.
